In 2011 I went to Norwich in England for my minor Visual Studies. In Visual Studies you can work however you'd like, as long as the final product is visual. I wanted to let go of my comfort zone in graphic design and really work with my hands and explore my art side. I didn't really know how to start so I made cards with keywords on them. I picked the card with 'to knot' on it. So I started knotting. While doing this, almost therapeutically, I realized this is how I felt about the house I was living in. I felt trapped. It was so dirty and my housemates were smoking pot all the time. I wasn't able to cook because of the dirty dishes and if I would have found a clean plate there would be no gas. This livingsituation was my inspiration for the project I call 'Entangled'.
